What's happening at Prescott Middle School

Field trip

A trip back to the past!

Prescott Middle Schoolers went to Fort Walla Walla, Whitman Mission, Tamastslikt Cultural Center, and CTUIR (Confederated Tribes of Umatilla Indian Reservation) Salmon Hatchery.

These out-of-classroom experiences provide context for what students are studying this spring. These locations were chosen because we have been learning about early Washington state history--indigenous people who were here first, the importance of salmon to indigenous cultures and traditions, early settlers to the state following the Oregon Trail.
